She invited some of her best girlfriends over for a dinner party, but there was one stipulation: no cosmetics allowed. That’s right, guests had to be makeup-free.

What started off as a weekly lifestyle newsletter back in 2008 has now grown to become a hub of wellness. You can buy all sorts of products on her site, including essential oils, clothing and natural beauty products. It’s also jam-packed with articles that give advice on everything from women in the workplace through to healthy recipes.

On Wednesday evening, Gwyneth Paltrow had a whole host of her famous friends round for a dinner party with a difference. Everyone that came got all dressed up, like any normal dinner party, but all were fresh-faced and makeup-free. Paltrow had one stipulation for those attending her party – no cosmetics! She then took to social media to show off all her beautiful friends without an ounce of makeup on.

Those who attended her party included actress Demi Moore, designer Rachel Zoe, and artist Alexandra Grant. On social media, Paltrow shared plenty of pictures of herself and her friends without makeup. She captioned one of them explaining how she had “the immense pleasure of interviewing” the artist on everyone’s lips at the moment, Alexandra Grant. She said the event was “a beautiful gathering in celebration of beauty just the way we come.”
Many commenters were quick to point out just how incredible all the women looked without any makeup on and we definitely agree. We’d love to see more fresh-faced celebs holding makeup-free parties.
