Venus Williams Has Released a New “Glam Collection” as Part of Her Fashion Line

When you think of Venus Williams, there’s a high chance that you immediately think of the woman who can dominate the competition on the court. After all, she’s one of the best female tennis stars in the world, and she once had the pleasure of calling herself the world number one. However, what most people don’t realize about Venus Williams is that she’s also super stylish off the court, and her new collection is a true testament to that.

Launching her brand

Of course, this isn’t Venus’s first foray into the world of fashion. As a true believer of comfortable and versatile clothing that can be worn both on and off the court, Venus teamed up with Steve & Barry’s in 2007 to launch EleVen. It was her dream to use her experience and her style to “create a collection that will allow women to enjoy an active lifestyle while remaining fashionable at the same time.” When EleVen made its way to the runway at the 2012 New York Fashion Week, it certainly went down a storm.

Creating collection after collection

Since the start of her brand, Venus has continually launched new collections and designed clothing for the modern woman who doesn’t want to switch outfits and spend hours getting ready after being active. She made sure that all of these items were designed to be breathable and cool, moisture-wicking, temperature-controlled, and full of UV protection. These collections have all sold well – but there’s no doubt about the fact that many people are excited about her latest venture.

The Glam Collection

As someone who has worn a lot of activewear in the past, Venus realized that very few of her workout clothes were feminine. Within her new collection – called the Glam Collection – she hopes to bring these soft colors and fabrics to life. Featuring pinks, whites, melons, and navy, these glamorous colors should bring a whole new dimension to her brand, and it seems as though this collection houses more new items than any of her other 45+ collections. More than anything, this is the collection that Venus is most excited about.

Considering the success of her brand as a whole, we have no doubts about the fact that this collection will be a success. After all, who doesn’t want to buy activewear from Venus Williams?
