You might have heard Billy Joel’s smash hit track from the 80s, Uptown Girl, but do you know who the song was based upon? It was none other than Billy’s then partner Christie Brinkley, who was a supermodel. They tied the knot in 1985, and their marriage is said to have lasted till 1993.
But unfortunately, Billy’s intense touring schedule world-wide often prevented him from spending enough quality time with his family. Eventually, this increasing distance was said to have broken with their marriage.
